Accountant Minimum of TWO years of Account Department experience. M.Com

Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum of TWO years of Account Department experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting transactions.
  • Prepare budget forecasts.
  • Publish financial statements in time.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure timely bank payments.
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements
  • Analyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
  • Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue
  • Maintain and record fixed assets
  • Prepare and file local compliance reporting as necessary
  • Prepare court-mandated annual accounting reports and inventories for client discharges as necessary
  • Act as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies
